Had some drinks with Tom and caught up. His wife, Steph (State's Attorney), is pregnant with their first child and Tom's younger brother just moved to town.
Tom: I think his job is cooler than mine.
We also played Wii Sports despite the fact that Tom had recently fallen in the slushy street and hurt his side.
It was a lot more fun than this picture suggests. Tom's eyes are only half closed so it must have been a blast.

Tom: [via e-mail the next day] "Today the doctor told me that my rib is probably broken. He also told me there's really nothing you can do for a broken rib except take pain pills and wait for it to heal. I'm proud of myself that I played tennis and bowling with a broken rib. I am a superhero."

james spader, a former smoker, likes to wear jackets with a lot of pockets. he likes to keep things he finds on his walks. he apparently is one of the only people who walks everywhere in hollywood...and one of the only people who picks stuff up everywhere he goes.

Congratulations on the new baby to Tom and his wife. Anyone who can make up a story about helping a lady with a sprained ankle in the rain on the bike path in Athens will make a damn good dad.
